Auto-role Errors

These are the errors that can appear while loading, saving, or refreshing auto-role settings in the dashboard.

API Errors

"Insufficient permissions"

What happened: The current account is not allowed to manage auto-role settings for that server. What to do: Sign in with a server admin account or ask a server admin to make the change.

"Too many auto-role updates. Please wait a moment."

What happened: Auto-role settings were updated too quickly. What to do: Wait a moment and try saving again.

"role_ids must be an array of strings"

What happened: The selected roles payload was not in the format the API expects. What to do: Refresh the page and select the roles again before saving.

"You can select up to 10 roles"

What happened: The server tried to save more than 10 auto-roles. What to do: Remove roles until the list is 10 or fewer, then save again.

"Failed to update auto-role settings"

What happened: Nexcord could not save the auto-role configuration. What to do: Try saving again after refreshing the page.

Dashboard Errors

"Failed to load settings."

What happened: The dashboard could not load the server page container for auto-roles. What to do: Refresh the page and try again.

"Failed to load auto-role settings."

What happened: The auto-role settings page could not load its saved configuration. What to do: Refresh the page and try again.

"Failed to load roles."

What happened: The dashboard could not load the Discord role list for auto-role selection. What to do: Refresh the page or use the role refresh button after a short wait.

"You can select up to 10 roles."

What happened: The dashboard blocked a selection that would exceed the 10-role maximum. What to do: Deselect one or more roles before adding another.

"Failed to save auto-role settings."

What happened: The dashboard could not save the current auto-role settings. What to do: Try again after refreshing the page.

"Please wait 60 seconds before refreshing again."

What happened: The Discord role list was refreshed too quickly. What to do: Wait one minute before pressing the refresh button again.

"Failed to refresh roles. Please try again."

What happened: The dashboard could not refresh the latest Discord role list. What to do: Try again after a short wait. If it keeps failing, confirm the bot is still in the server.
