Moderation Tools

Nexcord's moderation tools let designated roles warn, mute, kick, ban, and unban members — all from Discord slash commands or the right-click context menu. Every action is logged in the dashboard.

Setting up Moderation

  1. Go to your server dashboard at nexcord.app/dashboard
  2. Select your server
  3. Navigate to Moderation → Moderation Settings
  4. Enable the toggle
  5. Optionally select a Discord log channel
  6. Under Moderator Roles, add roles and configure which actions each role can perform
  7. Click Save

Slash Commands

/warn @user reasonLog a warning against a member
/mute @user duration reasonTimeout a member (e.g. 10m, 1h, 7d)
/kick @user reasonKick a member from the server
/ban @user reasonBan a member from the server
/unban user_id reasonUnban a member by Discord user ID

Context Menu

Right-click any member → AppsNexcordModerate Member

Select an action, fill in the reason and duration (for mute), and submit.

Mod Logs

All moderation actions are logged in the dashboard under Moderation → Mod Logs.

Pro plan users can also look up a member's full moderation history by entering their Discord user ID.
