Message Log Errors

These are the errors that can appear while opening message logs, saving log settings, or refreshing log-related channel lists.

API Errors

"Guild not found"

What happened: Nexcord could not find the selected server while checking log access. What to do: Return to the dashboard and reopen the server. If the server was unlinked or removed, relink it first.

Note: The following message log error is a plan-limit error.

"Pro subscription required"

What happened: The server is trying to use a message logging feature that requires Pro. What to do: Ask a server admin to upgrade the server to Pro.

"Insufficient permissions"

What happened: The current account is not allowed to manage log settings or read message logs. What to do: Sign in with a server admin account or ask a server admin to open the page.

"Too many log settings updates. Please wait a moment."

What happened: Log settings were updated too quickly. What to do: Wait a moment and try saving again.

"Retention period must be 7, 30, 90, or 365 days."

What happened: An unsupported retention value was submitted. What to do: Pick one of the supported retention periods and save again.

"Failed to update log settings"

What happened: Nexcord could not save the message log settings. What to do: Refresh the page and try again.

"Too many log requests. Please wait a moment."

What happened: The log viewer was refreshed too frequently. What to do: Wait a short time before requesting the logs again.

Dashboard Errors

"Failed to load settings."

What happened: The dashboard could not load the server page container for log settings. What to do: Refresh the page and try again.

"Failed to load message logs."

What happened: The message log viewer could not load the current log entries. What to do: Refresh the page and try again later if needed.

"Failed to load log settings."

What happened: The message log settings page could not load its current configuration. What to do: Refresh the page and try again.

"Failed to load channels."

What happened: The dashboard could not load the Discord channel list used for log channel selection. What to do: Refresh the page or use the channel refresh button again after a short wait.

"Failed to save log settings."

What happened: The dashboard could not save the current message log settings. What to do: Try the save action again after refreshing the page.

"Please wait 60 seconds before refreshing again."

What happened: The Discord channel list was refreshed too quickly. What to do: Wait one minute before pressing the refresh button again.

"Failed to refresh channels. Please try again."

What happened: The dashboard could not refresh the latest Discord channel list for log settings. What to do: Try again after a short wait. If it keeps failing, confirm the bot is still in the server.
